The Day Of Our Promises

bombom..bombom...bombom..bombom.. This is what my heart said while I'm walking on a room full of people; they were all dressed and happy. And there was one big man standing in front crying while he was clapping his hands.
I been this man in person for 6 weeks but we been already talking for a year. He is tall, white and handsome and the most important thing that I like about him is his heart. Do you believed that the color of his heart is not red but it's white? Not because he is anemic or something. But for me his hearts is colored white because he is the most kind hearted, pure, most generous man I've ever meet. He is not perfect because we know that only Jesus is perfect on this world but he is too close-maybe 98% out of 100%.
"You woman, are you going to accept this man as your husband for poorer,for richer; for illness or for health"? asked by pastor.
This questioned awoke me from my day dreaming. And I asked myself if I'm really ready for this commitment? I was only 20 years old and I didn't know how to handle relationships because I never had a serious boyfriend in my life. I came from broken family and I didn't want to be like my parent's marriage that they broke up after 10 years of marriage and I just knew this man for a year. I need to be careful on my answer, because this answer will affect for the rest of my whole life.
" Woman are you accepting this man to be your husband...then I looked the man beside me in his eyes. And I saw a promised of happiness with him. So I answered " I do!"
And I heard the pastor asking him and a very sweet words came out on his mouth "I do with all my heart". These words filled joy in my heart.

I'm sharing my story for hoping you to find your right answer and able to help you decide and if you want to know if my answer was correct? Definitely, yes! That was the most right answer I had ever made. With the help of our almighty God I and my husband are both happy. God is good all the time.
